Q-BBQ opened at 70 S La Grange Rd in 2009 as a group of friends’ answer to the question of where to get real barbecue in the western suburbs. The founders toured pits around the country before settling on their own style, and the La Grange counter is still the original; Oak Park and Naperville followed, and an Elmhurst location is listed as coming soon. The format is fast casual: order at the counter, sit down with a tray of smoked meats and sides. The restaurant caters, delivers and runs the Q-Nation rewards program, which pays $5 back for every $100 spent.
