Brewpoint Coffee began in 2014 when the founders bought an existing Elmhurst coffee shop listed on Craigslist. The company now roasts its own coffee, sells blends and single origins online and wholesale, and runs three cafes in Elmhurst. Brewpoint Craft at 617 North York Street is the flagship, with coffee, cocktails, charcuterie and pastries, a daily happy hour and space set up for working from the cafe. Founder’s Cafe at 124 West Park Avenue is the original storefront near downtown, and the Lexicon Cafe is inside the Elmhurst Public Library on South Prospect Avenue. The company describes itself as woman and AAPI owned.
