Elgin Public House

Elgin Public House is a burger and craft beer bar on East Chicago Street in downtown Elgin, a block or two from the river and the Chicago Street Metra stop. The menu is a list of named burgers, among them the Mac Attack, the Kentucky, the French Dip and the Campfire, plus a Buffalo chicken sandwich and a loaded steak sandwich. The beer list leans on craft drafts. The pub also books private events, and the kitchen runs late on weekend nights, which makes the place a common last stop after a show at the Hemmens or a night at the casino.
