Garage Band Brewing

Garage Band Brewing is Plainfield’s downtown brewery, tucked on Des Plaines Street a block from the Lockport Street storefronts. The taproom pours the house-made beers under a rock-and-roll theme, sells cans and merchandise to go and serves a small menu. Dogs are welcome with well-behaved owners, and kids are welcome too. An event room hosts private parties, and the public calendar in 2026 included create-and-sip painting nights, plant bingo with a local flower shop and a comedy show in February. The brewery posted new taproom hours in August 2026 and was hiring bartenders and servers this fall.
