Flossmoor Station Restaurant & Brewery

Flossmoor Station Restaurant & Brewery has occupied Flossmoor’s 1906 Illinois Central depot at 1035 Sterling Avenue since 1996, and the trains still roll past the windows. The family-owned brewpub makes small-batch ales, lagers, stouts and barrel-aged beers, and the trophy case is deep: Best Small Brewpub and Best Small Brewpub Brewer in America at the 2006 Great American Beer Festival, gold at the 2006 World Beer Cup, and seven GABF medals for Pullman Nut Brown Ale alone. Recent honors include Chicago Beer Society’s Brewpub Shootout best pairing in 2025. Americana food, a Caboose Taproom and banquet space fill out the operation.
