Katich Breads is an Aurora bakery that most people meet at a farmers market rather than a storefront. The bakery at 605 Plum St. bakes specialty loaves such as roasted garlic asiago and potato cheddar ciabatta, along with sweet and savory croissants, and announces a new weekly special each week. In 2026 the stand travels to Elmhurst, Highland Park, Northbrook and Winfield on Wednesdays, La Grange and Libertyville on Thursdays, Schaumburg on Fridays, and Evanston, Naperville, Oak Park, Palatine and Park Ridge on Saturdays. Online preorders close a few days before each market so a loaf is held at the stand.
