Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago

About

Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago is in The Glen in Glenview, at 2100 Patriot Boulevard, and is built for kids from birth through age 8. The exhibits are pretend-play spaces and early-learning stations designed so that a toddler and a second grader can both find something at their level, which is why so many North Shore families hold memberships. The museum’s own tip is that weekday afternoons and rainy days are quieter than sunny weekend mornings. A new permanent exhibit, The Roots of Kindness, opens October 27, 2026. The Glen of North Glenview Metra station on the Milwaukee District North line is within walking distance.
