The Geraghty

The Geraghty is an event venue at 2520 S. Hoyne Ave. in a converted paper mill, owned and operated by the Chicago event design company Kehoe Designs and named for founder Tom Kehoe’s mother. The venue hosts weddings, galas and corporate events and includes 45 round dining tables and 400 lucite chairs. Couples are paired with an event designer and a technical producer from the venue’s sister companies, and a dedicated sales manager works with outside vendors before the event.

What to know

• A private gated lot holds 150 cars, with overflow parking on South Hoyne and valet on request.
• Rental prices are quoted on request.
• A 50% nonrefundable deposit and signed contract hold the date.
• Weddings require at least a day-of planner.
• The venue is not BYOB.
