Mox.E

Mox.E is a Black-owned coworking space and meeting venue at 1449 S. Michigan Ave., run as a program of the nonprofit Entrenuity. The building is on historic Record Row and was home to Vee-Jay Records. Members choose from pay-as-you-go day passes, visit-based plans, open coworking and private offices, and the space rents conference rooms and event space near McCormick Place. A nursing room is available for working mothers, and a coffee shop operates on the ground floor.

What to know

• The first coworking day is free after filling out the free day pass form.
• A day pass is $25, or $15 with the $25-a-month Work on Demand plan.
• Ten days a month costs $145, 20 days costs $229, and private offices are listed at $1,000 a month.
• Parking is paid street parking, which disappears during Soldier Field events.
• Virtual mailboxes with a Michigan Avenue address are sold through an outside mailbox service.
