DeskLabs is a coworking space and event venue at 3033 N. Clark St. in Lakeview. The building was a rehearsal studio and later an art gallery before its renovation, and much of the original exposed brick remains. Members choose from community desks, dedicated desks and private offices with 24/7 access, and the space rents conference rooms by the hour or day. Perks include espresso drinks, a full kitchen, phone booths, a lounge called The Garage and a rooftop terrace.

• A community membership is $350 a month and a dedicated desk is $450 a month.
• Private offices start at $1,250 a month.
• Virtual memberships with mail and package receiving are $90 or $150 a month.
