Second Shift

Second Shift is a neighborhood coworking space above Diversey Avenue in Logan Square, started in 2017 and now owned by Craig Baute. Members include developers, writers, nonprofit staff and other remote workers. Plans run from a four-day monthly membership to unlimited coworking and dedicated desks, and furnished private offices hold one to five people. Desks come with extra monitors, and the space has phone booths with webcams, standing desks, fiber internet and free color printing. Tours include a free trial day.

• Monthly plans are $85 for four days, $125 for eight days and $185 for unlimited.
• A dedicated desk is $300 a month and includes 24/7 access and mail service.
• Private offices run $500 to $1,500 a month; the meeting room is $40 an hour.
