Monteverde

Monteverde is chef Sarah Grueneberg’s Italian restaurant at 1020 W Madison St in the West Loop, a block south of the Randolph Street restaurant row and a short walk from the Morgan stop on the Green and Pink lines. The kitchen rolls pasta by hand in a pastificio set inside the dining room, and pairs Italian technique with Midwestern ingredients. The menu covers lunch, dinner and an afternoon aperitivo hour, and the restaurant has published a cookbook under the same name.
