Au Cheval

Au Cheval is a diner-style bar and restaurant at 800 W Randolph St in the West Loop, two blocks from the Morgan stop on the Green and Pink lines and part of the Hogsalt group. The menu is built around eggs and a thin-patty cheeseburger with pickles and dijonnaise, sold as a single or double with a fried egg and thick bacon as add-ons. The room is small, dark and loud, and the wait is real.
