Yu’s Mandarin is a family Chinese restaurant at 200 E Golf Rd in Schaumburg, near Woodfield, in a strip on the north side of Golf Road with parking out front. The draw is the house noodle section: Peking noodles, the menu’s zhajiangmian, Taiwan beef noodle soup and a spicy seafood noodle soup, alongside live-tank flounder, snapper and lobster and the Mandarin and Sichuan standards. A Traditional Cuisine page of Korean-Chinese dishes, including yangjangpi salad and sea cucumber with green onion, is unusual for the northwest suburbs.
