Byron’s Hot Dogs

Byron’s Hot Dogs is a North Side hot dog stand at 1017 W Irving Park Rd in Lakeview, a short walk from the Sheridan Red Line stop and about half a mile north of Wrigley Field. The stand steams Vienna Beef franks and dresses them with a wider garden than most: mustard, relish, onion, lettuce, tomato, green pepper, cucumber, pickle and celery salt. The menu also has jumbo dogs, chili dogs, Polish sausage, burgers and combo meals with fries. Eater Chicago and Time Out Chicago both put Byron’s on their lists of the city’s best hot dogs.
