Sen Sushi Bar

Sen Sushi Bar is a 30-seat Japanese restaurant at 814 S Oak Park Ave in Oak Park’s Southtown district, at the Oak Park Blue Line stop by the Eisenhower. Chaidanai and Varanya Chaiprasert opened the restaurant with chef Tony Silp, formerly of Tsunami in Chicago, and the poplar walls were stained by the owner himself. The menu covers sashimi, maki, tempura and teriyaki, with some fish imported from Japan and kept no more than two days. The kitchen’s own picks are the seven-piece sashimi sampler and agedashi tofu.
