Khyber Pass is an Indian restaurant at 1031 Lake St in downtown Oak Park, about two blocks from the Harlem/Lake Green Line stop, on a block that has turned over mostly to chains. A charcoal tandoor sits at the center of the kitchen; meats marinate in spiced yogurt and come to the table still sizzling. The vegetarian section is long, with baingan bharta, chana masala and saag paneer, and the menu adds biryanis with raita, samosas and lamb, chicken and seafood curries.
