Tufano’s Vernon Park Tap is a family-run Italian-American tavern on West Vernon Park Place in Little Italy, opened in 1930 by Joseph DiBuono and his wife, Teresa Tufano. Joe DiBuono now runs the restaurant with his daughter Darci. The menu, written on a chalkboard, sticks to home cooking such as lemon chicken, eggplant parmesan, sausage and peppers, fried calamari and a shareable antipasto salad.
