Louie’s Pub is a karaoke bar at 1659 W North Ave in Wicker Park, at Paulina Street. Gene and Connie Gloria opened the pub in 1987 and named the bar after their son, Louie. Free karaoke runs most nights, led by karaoke jockeys who sing backup and take requests, and a digital system pulls down a requested song on the spot. The bar also pours a large beer list and hands out free popcorn.
