Juno

Juno is chef B.K. Park’s sushi restaurant at 2638 N. Lincoln Ave. in Lincoln Park, the room where Park built his reputation before opening Mako. The menu is a la carte rather than a set omakase, with single-piece nigiri, a chef’s-choice sashimi plate and a nine-piece nigiri selection. Signature bites include smoked hamachi served under a glass dome, the Juno King (spicy king crab over tuna) and a trio of eels. Time Out and The Daily Meal have both named Juno among the best sushi restaurants in America.

What to know

• Park later opened the tasting-menu counter Mako, and the Lincoln Avenue original is the cheaper of the two.
• Reservations are taken through OpenTable.
