Dovetail is a vintage housewares and clothing store at 1452 W. Chicago Ave. in West Town, open since 2008 and, by the shop’s own description, West Town’s longest-running vintage store. Stock is sorted by design era, so shoppers can browse Art Deco, Bauhaus, Brutalist, Hollywood Regency, mid-century modern and postmodern barware, lamps, clocks and tableware without digging. Sterling jewelry, men’s ties and hats, vintage fragrance and a small clothing section round out the floor.
