Jonny’s Claypot Rice

Jonny’s Claypot Rice is a Cantonese food stall inside the Park To Shop grocery at 1835 S. Canal St., near 18th Street in Chinatown. The stall cooks rice to order in clay pots with toppings such as roast duck, barbecue pork, spare ribs, Chinese sausage and bacon, and the rice scorches and crisps against the bottom of the pot. Congee is also on the menu, and most pots are priced around $10 to $13.
