Dovetail Brewery is a brewery and taproom at 1800 W Belle Plaine Ave, at Ravenswood Avenue on Malt Row, west of the Metra tracks just north of Irving Park Road. The brewery makes continental European styles by traditional methods, with open fermenters and a coolship for spontaneous beers, and the year-round list runs to helles, Vienna lager, hefeweizen, Bohemian pilsner and rauchbier. The taproom is bring-your-own-food, with a seasonal patio and a building shared with Begyle Brewing next door.

- Food pop-ups set up in the taproom most Thursdays through Sundays.
- Brewery tours run on Saturdays.
- Growler fills are sold to go.
- Dogs are welcome on the patio in season.
- Dovetail’s own advice is to skip driving and take the Brown Line to Irving Park or the 80 Irving Park bus.
