Demo Brewing Company

Demo Brewing Company is a small garage-door microbrewery and taproom at 1763 W Berteau Ave in Ravenswood, in the middle of Malt Row, with a Divvy station across the street and the Irving Park and Montrose Brown Line stops a short walk south. Demo brews small batches that rotate often, from IPAs to stouts, plus a house seltzer, and keeps wine and a non-alcoholic beer on hand for anyone skipping beer. There is no kitchen, so food is bring-your-own, and board games are stacked for the table.

What to know

• Kids and dogs are both welcome, with dogs supervised.
• The taproom is cashless and takes credit and debit cards and mobile payments such as Apple Pay.
• A customer parking lot opens after 6 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends, including Cubs game days.
• Wrigley Field is about a mile east, and street parking gets tight when the Cubs are home.
