About
Island Party Hut is a tiki bar and grill on the east end of the Chicago Riverwalk at 355 E Riverwalk S, between Columbus Drive and Lake Shore Drive on the quieter stretch past Michigan Avenue. Four friends founded the company in 2012, and the bar now runs four tiki-themed bars pouring mai tais, frozen drinks, bottomless mimosas and other tropical cocktails with grilled brats, chicken sandwiches, French toast sticks and bar food at picnic tables on the water. The same company runs the Island Party Boat cruises that leave from the dock in front.
