Urban Kayaks is a kayak rental and guided-tour outfitter with a main stand on the east end of the Chicago Riverwalk near Columbus Drive, in the Loop, and a summer stand on the lakefront at Monroe Harbor. The company rents single and tandem kayaks by the hour, sells season passes for regulars and runs guided paddles on the main branch of the river. The Riverwalk stand is the one most visitors use, and the reason a Chicago park guide bothers with the Riverwalk at all is the chance to get on the water.

- Riverwalk rentals run from early May to early October, and lakefront rentals from late May to Labor Day.
- Hourly rentals started at $25 in the 2026 season.
