About
Shedd Aquarium is a public aquarium on the Museum Campus in the South Loop, between the Field Museum and the Adler Planetarium on DuSable Lake Shore Drive. The collection covers aquatic animals from the Great Lakes, the Amazon and the Pacific Northwest, with beluga whales and dolphins in the Oceanarium, and a full visit takes about three hours. Chicago residents pay a flat adult rate every day, while everyone else pays date-based prices that drop when booked ahead.
