The National Museum of Mexican Art is a free art museum in Harrison Park in Pilsen, on 19th Street near the Damen and 18th Street Pink Line stops. Four galleries on one floor show Mexican and Mexican American art from the permanent collection alongside temporary exhibitions, and the Day of the Dead show each fall is a neighborhood event. The museum suggests at least an hour, and a gift shop, Tienda Tzintzuntzán, sells Mexican crafts and books.

- Admission is always free; the museum opened in 1982.
- The Ray Castro lot on the east side charges $4 an hour.
- Free street parking is available on the side streets, subject to street-cleaning signs.
- The 50 Damen and 9 Ashland buses stop nearby.
- All galleries are on the main floor, and free sensory bags are available.
