Hexe Coffee Co. is a roaster and cafe at 2000 W. Diversey Pkwy., at Damen Avenue on the edge of Roscoe Village. The company started roasting in 2016 and opened the cafe in September 2019. The bar pours house roasts such as Painted as Monsters and a bourbon barrel-aged coffee, and the kitchen adds breakfast and lunch sandwiches, weekend pizza, in-house pastries, coffee cocktails, local beer and natural wine. A large industrial room and a patio give the shop more seating than most roaster cafes.
What to know
- Pizza runs Friday through Sunday afternoons, and vegan taquitos come out every evening.
- There is no L stop within an easy walk; the 76 Diversey and 50 Damen buses cross at the door.
- Beer, wine and coffee cocktails mean a work session can end with a drink without changing seats.
