Bob-O’s Hot Dogs

Bob-O’s Hot Dogs is a family-owned hot dog and Italian beef stand at 8258 W. Irving Park Rd. in Dunning, on the Northwest Side near the Harlem Avenue border. The stand has been at the same address since the 1950s, and the Bartell family has run the place since the 1970s. The kitchen cooks and slices its own beef, makes meatballs, chili and hand-cut fries daily, and sells char dogs, combos and a three-sandwich sampler called the Trio.
