Tony’s Italian Beef

Tony’s Italian Beef is a family-run beef stand at 7007 S. Pulaski Rd. in West Lawn, on the Southwest Side near Marquette Park. The stand opened in 1975 and still uses Tony’s beef recipe and a giardiniera from his father. The menu is Italian beef, char-grilled Italian sausage, combos, hot dogs and fries, with call-ahead ordering for pickup. The beef is spiced harder than the North Side norm, so regulars tend to order sweet peppers and skip the hot.
