Alinea is Grant Achatz’s tasting-menu restaurant at 1723 N. Halsted St. in Lincoln Park, a walk from the North/Clybourn Red Line stop. The restaurant holds three Michelin stars and sells its multi-course dinner as prepaid tickets for three experiences: the Gallery, the Salon and the Kitchen Table, each with optional wine pairings. The Gallery runs about three and a half hours. Alinea has won James Beard awards for Outstanding Restaurant, Outstanding Service and Outstanding Chef.
