G&W Electric is a family-owned manufacturer of electric power grid equipment with global headquarters in Bolingbrook and, since September 2026, a 291,000-square-foot manufacturing plant at 1135 Arbor Drive in Romeoville. The company makes switchgear, reclosers, overhead switches, current-limiting systems, cable accessories, sensors and grid automation products for utilities and large commercial customers. G&W has been in business for more than 120 years and added the Romeoville plant to expand North American production.
