Christkindlmarket Wrigleyville at Gallagher Way

The Christkindlmarket’s North Side outpost returns to Gallagher Way beside Wrigley Field from November 20 through December 31, 2026, according to the organizer. It is the smaller of the three markets, with 28 vendors this year per the announcement reported by NBC Chicago, but it has the same German food stalls, Glühwein mugs and imported ornaments as Daley Plaza with far more elbow room.

Hours are 3 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Holiday hours differ on Thanksgiving, December 21 through 23, Christmas Eve, December 28 through 30 and New Year’s Eve, and the market is closed Christmas Day. Admission is free.

The market is one piece of Winterland at Gallagher Way, the plaza’s seasonal setup with an ice rink and family programming; check the plaza’s calendar for rink hours and prices.

Take the Red Line to Addison; the plaza is at the corner of Clark and Addison a block west of the station, and the 22 Clark and 152 Addison buses stop outside. Street parking in Wrigleyville is permit-restricted on many blocks, and the paid lots on Clark fill on weekend evenings. Weekend afternoons draw families; weeknights after 6 p.m. are quieter. The plaza is open to the wind off the ballpark, so bundle up.
