Millennium Park Holiday Market

The Millennium Park Holiday Market is a three-day, city-run market on Chase Promenade North that opens Friday, November 20, 2026 alongside the tree lighting and runs through Sunday, November 22. Hours are noon to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, and admission is free, according to the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.

The 2025 market had about 40 vendors, mostly Chicago makers selling candles, soap, jewelry, art, apparel and pet treats, along with youth arts groups such as After School Matters and Marwen. The city had not posted the 2026 vendor list or entertainment schedule as of late September. Concessions last year ran from burgers and hot dogs to mulled wine, spiked hot chocolate and Irish coffee in the $8 to $16 range.

It is a smaller, calmer alternative to the Christkindlmarket a few blocks west, and a good stop before or after the tree lighting.

Chase Promenade North is the stretch of Millennium Park between Randolph Street and the Bean, steps from Washington/Wabash and Millennium Station. Randolph Street and Michigan Avenue see closures Friday night for the tree lighting, so use transit. Friday evening is the crush; Saturday and Sunday afternoons are easy to browse. It is outdoors under tents, so wear layers.
