13th Floor Haunted House Chicago is an indoor haunted attraction in Schiller Park, just east of O’Hare, open select nights from mid-September into early November. This year’s two attractions are Black Hollow Institute, set in an abandoned asylum, and a haunted manor story built around the Blackmore family. Add-ons include five-minute mini escape games. The haunt runs rain or shine, with a covered waiting area and an outdoor midway with a full bar and food. The operators warn it may be too intense for children 12 and under.
