Academic Approach

Academic Approach is a Chicago tutoring and test prep company that marks its 25th year in 2026. The Lincoln Park office on W. Armitage Avenue handles in-person sessions, and much of the tutoring also runs online. For CPS families the main draw is prep for the high school admissions test used by selective enrollment schools, offered one-on-one or in small groups with practice tests. The company also covers private school entrance exams, the SAT and ACT, AP exams and subject tutoring from math to foreign languages.
