The Anti-Cruelty Society

About

The Anti-Cruelty Society is a River North animal welfare group whose downtown campus includes an adoption center at Grand Avenue and LaSalle Drive and a veterinary clinic on the lower level of 157 W. Grand Ave. The clinic is appointment-only and focuses on affordable spay and neuter surgery, primary wellness care and routine surgery for pets from across the region. A rabies vaccination is required for clinic services, and the clinic does not treat emergencies. In summer 2026 the group opened a Pet Resource Center in Roseland to help owners keep their pets.
