Autre Monde Cafe

Autre Monde Cafe opened in 2011 at 6727 W Roosevelt Rd in Berwyn, on the same stretch of Roosevelt Road as FitzGerald’s. The menu runs across the Mediterranean, from Italy and Spain to Greece and the North African coast, with handmade pasta, wood-grilled fish and meats, and a good number of vegetarian plates. The bar pours a curated wine list, seasonal cocktails and a set of spirit-free drinks. There is a dining room, a bar and a garden patio out back that opens in warm weather. Why Berwyn, the city’s marketing group, lists Autre Monde as Berwyn owned and operated and as the city’s first green certified restaurant.
