Bien Trucha

Bien Trucha is the Geneva restaurant that made a small storefront on West State Street a destination for modern Mexican cooking. The menu changes with the season and draws on the street stands and markets of Mexico, with locally sourced ingredients and house techniques, and the bar keeps a deep list of tequilas, mezcals and other agave spirits along with hand-shaken cocktails and a rotating set of Mexican and local craft beers. The Bien Trucha Group has since added a second Bien Trucha in Wheaton and the Lil Donkeys taqueria brand, but the original at 410 W. State Street, with its outdoor dining pods, remains the flagship.
