Café Touché has been the French bistro of Edison Park’s restaurant row since 2009. The dining room sits at 6731 N. Northwest Hwy., about a block from the Metra platform, and the kitchen leans on classics: duck breast, Idaho brook trout, quiche Florentine and a rigatoni Bolognese that runs about $28. The bar mixes house cocktails. The room is small and fills on weekends, so the restaurant tends to be a reservation spot for anniversaries and birthdays on the far Northwest Side.
