Chicago Children’s Theatre

About

Chicago Children’s Theatre is a professional company for young audiences that has performed since 2004 and now lives at The Station, a converted police station at 100 S. Racine Avenue in the West Loop. Each show carries an age recommendation, which takes the guesswork out of a first theater trip: the 2026-27 season runs from Carmela Full of Wishes for ages 6 and up in October to Leonardo! A Wonderful Show About a Terrible Monster for ages 3 and up in February 2027. The company also runs Red Kite programs for children on the autism spectrum. The Blue Line’s Racine stop is a half mile south.
