Chicago Comics at 3244 N. Clark St. in Lakeview has sold comics since 1986 and is the largest independent comics selection in the city. The shop moved into the former Stage Left theater space and added a big back room that houses independent publishers, small press, manga, mini-comics, zines and work by local creators, alongside a full run of mainstream titles. Chicago Comics buys comics and collectibles seven days a week, accepts consignments and runs a loyalty program. The Belmont Red, Brown and Purple line stop is a few blocks south.
