The Chicago Mosaic School

The Chicago Mosaic School is a school and gallery devoted to mosaic art at 1127 W Granville Ave in Edgewater, a block from Lake Michigan. The signature beginner class, Mosaic I, is a six-week course on basic techniques, tools and materials, also offered as a weekend intensive and online. The school runs more advanced classes, youth classes, open studio sessions and an artist-in-residence program, and hosts Mosaic Fest in the fall. The Gallery of Contemporary Mosaics shows work in the same building.
