Daisy’s Po-Boy and Tavern

Daisy’s Po-Boy and Tavern is a New Orleans-style po’boy shop and bar at 5215 S. Harper Ave. in Hyde Park’s Harper Court. Chef Erick Williams named the restaurant for his late Aunt Daisy, whose husband’s Louisiana roots shaped his cooking. The menu runs from roast beef, fried shrimp and alligator po’boys to gumbo, muffulettas and fried chicken, with Sazeracs and frozen hurricanes at the bar.
