About
Gallery Guichard has shown art of the African diaspora on 47th Street since 2005, when Andre Guichard, Frances Guichard and Stephen Mitchell opened the space on the ground floor of the Bronzeville Artist Lofts. The 7,000-square-foot gallery rotates solo and group exhibitions, with a Calvin Coleman show opening October 9, 2026, and the Great Migration Sculpture Garden sits outside. The second Thursday of every month is Artini, a 6 p.m. happy hour with a DJ and live instrumentalist. The gallery also frames, crates and ships art and rents the space for events.
