Gman Tavern is a bar on Clark Street two blocks north of Wrigley Field in Wrigleyville, next door to the Metro concert hall. The tavern keeps a rotating draft list and a vinyl collection, and a small stage hosts free and ticketed shows. The house special is a Chicago Handshake, a shot of Malört with a domestic beer, priced at $6 during happy hour on weekdays and not offered when the Cubs play at home. The room is the quieter option on a strip of sports bars.
