Habitat for Humanity Chicago

Habitat for Humanity Chicago is the local affiliate of the home-building nonprofit, with an office at 111 W. Jackson Blvd. in the Loop. Its housing work is concentrated in Austin, West Pullman and Greater Grand Crossing, where volunteers work on construction sites. The group also runs two ReStores, at 6040 N. Pulaski Rd. on the Northwest Side and 6057 S. Western Ave. on the South Side, which take volunteers too. Individuals can also serve on committees, and teams from schools, businesses and other organizations can book group builds year-round.
