About
Half Acre Beer Company is a production brewery with a taproom, shop, kitchen and fenced beer garden at 2050 W Balmoral Ave in Bowmanville, at the north end of Malt Row. Founded in 2007, Half Acre makes Daisy Cutter pale ale along with lagers, IPAs, stouts and barrel-aged beers, and describes the house style as purposefully rough American micro beers. The taproom has full food service, and the shop sells cans and draft growlers to take home.
What to know
- Leashed dogs are allowed in the beer garden, and children are welcome at the table with an adult over 21.
- The taproom does not take reservations; groups of ten or more use the event request form.
- The beer garden closes immediately during lightning, thunder or rain.
- Half Acre’s former Lincoln Avenue taproom is now home to Hop Butcher For The World.
