Hot Chi Chicken & Cones is a Chicago-style hot chicken shop at 100 W. 87th St. in Chatham, the first location of a small local company. The kitchen seasons its batter with garlic, onion, sumac and paprika and sells tenders, bone-in chicken, wings and sandwiches at heat levels from mild to very hot. Crinkle fries, mac and cheese, grilled elote, milkshakes and fresh lemonades fill out the menu.
